Letters of Advice to Apply(LAA)。
| Strategic Recruitment Initiative | 41 |
Strategic Recruitment Initiative
Express Entry Profile
- 省内就业;
- 曼省本地教育背景;
- 医疗职业;
- 法语能力;

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) held Draw #279 on September 10, 2026, issuing a total of 793 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs).
How Were the Invitations Distributed?
| Selection Group | LAAs | Minimum Score |
|---|---|---|
| Candidates currently working in Manitoba in health occupations | 233 | Not published |
| Applicant or spouse completed post-secondary education in Manitoba | 508 | 825 |
| French-speaking candidates | 11 | Not published |
| Strategic Recruitment Initiatives | 41 | Not published |
The 825-point cut-off is an MPNP ranking score, not a federal Express Entry CRS score.
Health Occupations Remain a Priority
Manitoba issued 233 LAAs to candidates currently working in Manitoba in health occupations.
The selection covered NOC Broad Occupational Category 3 – Health occupations .
Candidates in regulated occupations must still demonstrate that they meet the applicable Manitoba licensing or registration requirements.
Manitoba Education Was the Largest Selection Group
The largest group in this draw consisted of candidates where either the applicant or spouse had completed post-secondary education in Manitoba.
This group received 508 LAAs, with a minimum MPNP ranking score of 825.
The result highlights the importance of Manitoba education in this selection, although the relatively high score also shows that competition remains significant.
French-speaking Candidates Continue to Receive Invitations
Another 11 LAAs were issued to French-speaking candidates.
No minimum score was published for this group.
Candidates with valid French-language results may therefore wish to review their current MPNP eligibility and EOI profile.
Strategic Recruitment Initiatives
Manitoba issued 41 LAAs under Strategic Recruitment Initiatives.
These initiatives remain another way for Manitoba to connect immigration selection with specific provincial labour market needs.
272 Candidates Declared Valid Express Entry Profiles
Of the 793 candidates invited, 272 declared a valid Express Entry profile.
What Does This Mean for Applicants?
This draw continues to show Manitoba’s focus on candidates with local employment, Manitoba education, health-care experience and French-language ability.
Candidates currently working in Manitoba’s health sector, families where either spouse has studied in Manitoba, and applicants with valid French-language test results should review their MPNP eligibility and EOI profiles.
Competition remains significant in some groups, but Manitoba continues to provide opportunities for candidates whose backgrounds match the province’s priorities.
Preparing early and choosing the right pathway can make a meaningful difference when the next opportunity arrives.
